2014 – Africa- Because Africa Matters tour:

A tour dedicated for fundraising to build an Education centre for the people of Africa, and removing misconceptions about Islam.

21st July 2014 – Ramadan TV Appeal

The Convivencia trust fundraise for a number of different projects including the Africa project – building of the new Muslim Education centre , sponsoring Individuals with high potential in higher Education and a Hardship fund. Guests included :

November 22nd 2014 – Annual ladies motivational event at the Ivory suite

An event dedicated to the sisters in the community to encourage education and motivation. The charity invite speakers from our community to share their knowledge and skills with the community in order to facilitate community progress and cohesion as well as network building.

2015 – Who was Mohammad ? 24th January 2015 :

A Dawah training workshop to help Muslims gain useful skills in order to speak to the public effectively about Islam and promote a good understanding of the faith to the public -Delivered by Historian Adnan Rashid

7th April 2015 to the 17th April 2015 – Renaissance Pakistan tour – Because Pakistan matters

• Lahore – 15th to 17th April
• Islamabad – 11th to 14th April
• Peshawar – 8th to 10th April
Renaissance means rebirth, so the basic concept of this tour was to revive the truth about Islam in Pakistan. To encourage the youth towards Education through motivational lectures and workshops. Each speaker specialised in their individual academic subjects.

12th July 2015 – The Convivencia Trust – An Evening of Ramadan Event At the premiere banqueting suite

This Event was all about bringing an awareness of the importance of fasting and duties of a Muslim during Ramadan. We focused on Educating Muslims about the importance of Dawah and the etiquettes of speaking to non Muslims about Islam.
The event included freedom of expression with beautiful poetry and creativity.
There was fundraising for the Africa project – with updates of the new Education centre

 

5th December 2015 – Birkbeck university of London

Course on the Legacy of Islam – Delivered by Adnan Rashid
This full day course covers the positive contribution made by Islam to human development in facilitating tolerance, coexistence and subsequent progress. It shows how Islam served as a major catalyst in civilising mankind.

 

December 27th 2015 – Annual Ladies Motivational Event

Another motivational Event for woman in the community. This event was a success and inspiration for all that attended.

 

9th April 2016 – Barnet multicultural community centre

An Event dedicated to fundraising and creating an awareness of the Convivencia trust, it included motivational speakers and artists.
The event consisted of footage for the Africa Education centre and work in progress.
 

3rd July 2016 – Africa Matters Event – Birmingham

An Event dedicated to fundraising and creating an awareness of the Convivencia trust, it included motivational speakers and artists.
The event consisted of footage for the Africa Education centre and work in progress.

 

2017 – 2018 – The S.A.L.A.M Project – (sharing affection love as Muslims) – 31st December 2017

The S.A.L.A.M project is a new and exciting initiative by the Convivencia trust, designed to remove misconceptions about Islam and promote community cohesion. The charity are constantly planning new ways to educate the public about Islam by sharing love and affection. The Convivencia trust are working along side Musa Adnan, Ali Dawah and Mohammed Hijab whom are prominent youtubers supporting the work of S.A.L.A.M.
One of the most recent activities of the project involved handing out homemade and professionally made cupcakes to the public, with messages of peace and harmony on little papers inside ! Look out for more exciting ventures by S.A.L.A.M – a project of the Convivencia trust.
